Identity Counselling

Identity counselling offers space to explore who you are, how you see yourself, and how your experiences have shaped that sense of self. Questions around identity can come up during life transitions, after loss or trauma, or when parts of yourself feel unclear, conflicted, or disconnected. This work supports understanding, integration, and self-acceptance rather than pushing toward a fixed answer.

Identity is not something that needs to be solved. Therapy helps you relate to yourself with more curiosity, compassion, and clarity.

Ways Identity Counselling Can Support You

Support That Adapts to You

Identity counselling meets you where you are, whether you are questioning, redefining, or trying to reconnect with parts of yourself that feel lost or silenced. Therapy may explore personal history, relationships, cultural or social influences, and internal patterns that affect how you relate to yourself. Approaches may include narrative work, parts-based therapy, somatic awareness, or relational exploration, depending on what feels most supportive. You set the pace. There is no pressure to arrive at a label or conclusion. Over time, many people experience a stronger sense of coherence and ease within themselves. Identity work can help you feel more grounded in who you are, make choices with greater confidence, and relate to others from a place that feels more authentic and steady.
