I believe meaningful therapeutic change begins with feeling deeply heard and understood. My approach is rooted in curiosity, collaboration and creating a space where we can explore not only your current challenges, but also the narratives, relationships and patterns that may be contributing to them.
As a counselling practicum student completing my Master of Counselling Psychology, I strive to create a warm, thoughtful, non-judgmental space where clients feel able to express themselves openly at their own pace. A space that is meant to both support and stretch clients in order to serve them best. My work is informed by a relational perspective that values making sense of both our struggles and successes by recognizing the unique story that underlies each human life.
Before beginning my counselling training, I worked as an educator for more than a decade with students from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences. From this, I have learned the importance of building trust, fostering curiosity, and meeting others where they are at. I look forward to the opportunity to work alongside you.
