EVC’s Rob Broughton and his colleague Kate Drew were recently published in Insights Magazine with an article about parenting teens “The Goals of Behaviour”.
Rob and Kate outline how parents can harness the Adlerian concepts of the four goals of behaviour: attention, power, revenge, display of inadequacy, to increase connection and belonging with their teen children. In breaking down how each of these behaviours, Kate and Rob outline ways that parents can understand and support developmental growth.
