If you’re feeling overwhelmed, want to manage stress, mental health, or improve your wellness with some preventative care, I can help. My calm, warm, and attentive demeanour, paired with my genuine care and curiosity about your life and concerns, set the foundation for safety in our work together. Using holistic and integrative approaches, each session is personalized and tailored to your needs. We will incorporate information from evidence based approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness techniques to address anxiety, depression, identity, life changes and transitions, emotional and relationship problems, as well as support for stress and burnout, career, workplace problems, and more. My practice is trauma informed and diversity affirming.
I am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, following a career path that naturally led me to counselling. With over 10 years of professional experience working as a case manager and support worker with at-risk youth and with workplace stress and rehabilitation, I have helped people of all ages with varied mental health and wellness needs. As a member of the queer community, I value creating an affirming and inclusive space where you can show up as you are, without fear of judgment.
I work with adults and youth (12 years and up), offering both in-person and online sessions with flexible evening and weekend availability. It is an honour to support clients as they navigate life’s challenges and move toward the life they want to build.
You can book a free online consultation session with me to see if we’re a good fit, and I look forward to meeting you.
