Jennifer Thompson
I strive to create a welcoming, non-judgmental space that honors multiple truths. My work is supportive and client-centered, prioritizing your unique needs and experiences.
I aim to foster a brave space—a space where you feel empowered to explore and deepen your understanding of yourself and your healing journey. My approach integrates a blend of techniques, including Emotion-Focused Therapy, Attachment-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and somatic practices.
My many years of experience working in social services have lead me to a focus on working with trauma, substance misuse and addiction, mental health including anxiety, depression, and panic, the impact of violence and intimate partner violence, ADHD, and many other areas of life’s struggles that lead people to reach out for support.
The program I am completing is the Masters of Counselling program at City University, and my EVC Supervisor is Laura Baracaldo.
Sessions are available online and in person
