Group Supervision | Thu | 2 Hrs

Welcoming graduate-level Intern Counsellors in practicum, Pre-Licensed Counsellors, newly Registered Counsellors, and anyone looking to take their case conceptualizations to the next level.

You can expect: 

  • We will discuss interventions, skills and theory – with a focus on your greatest asset: your nervous system as a counsellor and how you show up in your sessions.
  • Participants may bring in cases for discussion
  • Topic-based clinical conversations will be a part of the process
  • All approaches are welcomed

 

About Kennedy:

  • 7 years in private practice seeing individuals, couples and facilitating groups
  • Specialization in working with front line staff and trauma-exposed environments
  • Focus on the impacts of our work on our own nervous system 
  • Content and facilitation for webinars and workshops for Homelessness Services Association of BC
  • Works closely with several non-profits on creating and managing healthy workplaces in trauma exposed work environments
  • Extensive experience working with frontline staff and first responders experiencing burnout and/or PTSD
  • I use a mixture of Polyvagal, Interpersonal Process and Gestalt as the basis of my practice
 

This is a small, personalized, closed group with a specialized provider who meets the criteria as a Supervisor, and the format meets the BCACC’s eligibility criteria for group supervision hours (Sept ’25).

Participants will be screened and additional consent forms will be forwarded to you upon booking.

Rate info: $50 per hour = $100 per 2hr session = $500 for all 5 sessions.

Can be paid weekly or in full. Receipts will be provided after each session. Commitment for all sessions is required.

Minimum of 4 registrants required for this group to run as outlined.
