MACP (Candidate), Intern Counsellor

Accepting Clients from Mon May 4 ’26

I have been drawn to counselling and psychology for as long as I can remember. My interest began with a desire to better understand myself and has grown into a passion for helping others deepen their own self-awareness. I value building meaningful connections and strive to create a safe, compassionate space where individuals feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and emotions.

In my counselling practice, I support individuals navigating grief, death, loss, and anxiety. I also provide substance use and addiction support to individuals and families. I view therapy as a collaborative process, working alongside clients to explore challenges, foster emotional awareness, and support growth and connection.

I draw from an eclectic, client-centered approach, integrating modalities such as existential therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, feminist therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care. This flexibility allows me to tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs. I receive both direct and indirect clinical supervision, which supports my ongoing development and ensures ethical, effective care.
