Aralia understands the challenges of sharing personal concerns with a stranger and has developed a therapeutic approach that fosters a comfortable, unrushed, and receptive environment for clients. She aims to be a calm anchor for those experiencing divorce, separation, loss, caregiver fatigue, family estrangement, life transitions, relationship issues, serious illness, and identity exploration.
Valuing diverse perspectives, Aralia provides professionals in the sex industry and BDSM communities a safe, non-judgmental space to discuss concerns without making assumptions about lifestyle or occupation.
Aralia is a Student Intern and a Registered Social Worker with 25 years of combined experience in Community Mental Health and Home Health settings. Her approach is integrative and grounded in Jungian and phenomenological approaches, along with narrative therapy, internal family systems (IFS), emotion-focused therapy (EFT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy (SFT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). She is available for in-person and online appointments and provides a sliding scale for those experiencing financial hardship.
