Mina Chung
Mina is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and a Registered Social Worker who has worked in the mental health field since 2011. In therapy, Mina takes a collaborative, person-centered approach, integrating tools from Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy and mindfulness/body-based therapies. Mina seeks to create a welcoming, safe and affirming environment for clients to explore issues of concern, recover their resiliency and strength, and grow towards the changes they are seeking. Mina works with clients who are facing a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, grief, loss, trauma, relationship challenges, and identity issues. Mina seeks to practice therapy relationally from an anti-oppressive framework and enjoys working with clients of all gender and sexual identities, cultural/racial backgrounds, and walks of life.
